Welcome to Hardin County Cooperative Extension Service

The Hardin County Extension office is located at 201 Peterson Drive in Elizabethtown Kentucky. We're part of the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University off-campus information network. Our website contains information for family consumer sciences, district 5 horse programs, state horse contests, and horticulture, 4-H, and agriculture natural resources.

Our website provides many different avenues of information. We are your source of information for Kentucky state horse programs and district 5 horse programs. We offer information for district 5 horse shows, Kentucky state horse shows, state horse contests, District horse camps and many other horse programs.

We also offer family consumer sciences events and information. We have specific quilting events if you quilt plus other homemaker's events. Our website will also provide you with food and nutrition information, Hardin County weather, plus Hardin county fair information.

If you are a homeowner, landscaper, or nursery and looking to beautify Hardin County then you will be interested in our horticulture section. We have horticulture events, information for Master Gardeners, and a horticulture news section.

If you are interested in agriculture natural resources information we have that as well. You can find info on livestock grain market reports, tobacco grant programs Kentucky, Hardin County Cattleman's Association, pest news Kentucky, alternative crop enterprise Kentucky, the Hardin County Goat Producers, plus much more. We also have agriculture natural resources scholarship and agriculture natural resources grants information.

If you have a couple of hours a week and would like to make a difference in the life of a child, we would love for you to become a 4-H Volunteer. We have 4-H information for local 4-H clubs, 4-H Youth Development scholarships, 4-H camps, 4-H Events and activities, and 4-H newsletter.

We deliver information, education, and solutions. And we grow ideas into better communities, and healthier lives. If you are interested in any of the above items, but cannot seem to find what you are looking for, feel free to Contact us today.
